Class Description: This class will offer a beginner intro to Indigo dying with Shibori inspired patterns. Students will be walked through several designs and examples of each before being set free to create designs of your own.  Students will get 3 items (two tea towels, one bandana) to experiment their favorite technique with.  You may also bring 2-3 small items of your own to experiment with, which must be of a natural fiber, preferably cotton.  Items should be no bigger than a t-shirt.  Items that are stained or lack luster will work perfectly!  

What to bring/wear: 

-Please wear something that you don't mind getting dye on or dark clothing, as there may be some splashes and drips!  Gloves will be provided.  

-2-3 small items of your own to experiment with, which must be of a natural fiber, preferably cotton.
